About Us

We are Sarah Thom and Jeanette Jones, local crafters, based in Neath, South Wales. We have been friends for many years and among our shared interests is a love of making beautiful hand-made art from nature’s resources.

 

Our way into felt making has been an organic process, one which we came upon by chance, but one that immediately captivated us both. We have explored different techniques and developed our own unique and individual styles, specialising in textile art. But it is ultimately the shared experience of learning the ancient skill of felting that keeps us passionate about working with, not just the oldest known textile, but a significantly ecological one.
